Warrior TV-Show Review 2019 Cast Crew

Creator: Jonathan Tropper

Stars: Jason Tobin, Andrew Koji, Olivia Cheng

Here's an interesting one: Justin Lin, from Fast & Farious, Fast & Furious 5 and Fast & Furious 6 (as well as Tokyo Drift, and occasionally Community), is working on a television series based on an original idea by Bruce Lee.

The premium American cable channel Cinemax is attached to the idea, which is described as a "passion project" for Lin. We are told that Lin can direct the pilot episode. Jonathan Tropper (co-creator of Banshee, a decent success for Cinemax) has written such a pilot.

The show, called Guerrero, has been inspired by the writings of Bruce Lee. We are told that Bruce Lee spent "many years" working on the idea before this death in 1973.

According to Cinemax, "Warrior is an action-packed crime drama that takes place during the brutal Tong Wars in Chinatown in San Francisco in the second half of the 19th century. "The series follows Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy who migrates from China to San Francisco in mysterious circumstances, and becomes a hatchet for one of the most powerful claws in Chinatown."

The series is produced by Lee's daughter, Shannon, along with veteran television and film producers Justin Lin (Fast & Furious) and Jonathan Tropper (co-creator of Banshee).

"I have always admired Bruce Lee for his innovative efforts in opening doors for Asians in entertainment and beyond," Lin explained. "So I was intrigued when Danielle told me about the urban legend of her never-produced idea for a television show and suggested we give it life, then when Shannon [Lee] shared with us her father's writings, rich in philosophies unique from Lee's life, and from a point of view rarely represented on the screen, Danielle and I knew that Perfect Storm had to do it.The partnership with Cinemax has led to a wonderful collaboration with Jonathan Tropper, who has created a fantastic series Inspired by Lee's writings, we are all honored to continue what he started. The Old Man Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Dan Chase, the lead in FX's new drama The Old Man, is on the run. They're chasing him, do you see what they did there? — by various US government agencies, at least one deadly contractor, and international adversaries. He is an intelligent man, but his main antagonist is time: a past that catches up with him and a future that becomes more finite. It's a role made for Jeff Bridges, one of those actors who was born to and into Hollywood stardom and has gracefully grown from golden boy to septuagenarian savant on movie screens across the country. As a thriller, The Old Man doesn't always deliver. His internal logic is spotty and his backstory shallow. As a showcase for Bridges and John Lithgow, the rare actor almost able to match his indelible co-star role in another indelible role, The Old Man is far more satisfying, though audiences will yearn for a more direct interplay between the two perfect notes. drives and less of the genre filler that stretches three of the four e...
