The Red Line TV-Show Review 2019 Cast Crew Creators: Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss Stars: Howard Charles, Vinny Chhibber, Emayatzy Corinealdi Noah Wyle has been chosen to play a leading role in the CBS pilot program "Red Line", which Variety has learned. In the pilot, after a white policeman in Chicago shoots and kills a black doctor by mistake, the program follows three different families who have connections to the case as the story is told from each perspective. Wyle will play Daniel Calder, described as a dedicated high school teacher who mourns the loss of his innocent African-American husband who was shot dead by a white police officer. Daniel is now a single father of his adopted daughter, Jira. He joins the previously announced cast members, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Noel Fisher, Michael Patrick Thornton and Aliyah Royale.
