Meg 2: The Trench 2023 Movie Trailer Poster Online

Jason Statham comes face to face with not one, not two, but three prehistoric sharks that dwell in the deep sea, along with a giant creature with loads of tentacles, in the first official trailer for "Meg 2: The Trench." .

Shortly after Megalodon grossed $530 million worldwide in 2018, a sequel was confirmed. The original film followed a group of scientists whose submarine was attacked by a Megalodon, a giant shark species previously thought to be extinct. Now, Warner Bros. has pulled back the curtain on the film after unveiling its first trailer ahead of the film's August 4 release.

The new video reveals that Statham has teamed up with Wu Jing, a huge star in China who has starred in blockbusters including "The Wandering Earth," "Wolf Warrior" and "The Battle at Lake Changjin." The pair embark on an underwater journey to the bottom of the ocean to investigate new creatures, before facing off against a trio of sharks at a sea-level resort destination. Of course, many people end up in the jaw.

“Meg 2” will star Statham, Wiu, Cliff Curtis, Sienna Guillory, Skyler Samuels, Page Kennedy, Shuya Sophia Cai and Sergio Peris-Mencheta. Li Bingbing, who directed "The Meg" alongside Statham, will not be a part of the sequel.

"The Meg" is based on Steve Alten's 1997 techno-thriller novel "Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror." The original adaptation was written by Dean Georgaris, Erich Hoeber, and Jon Hoeber, who also wrote "Meg 2."

The Old Man Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Dan Chase, the lead in FX's new drama The Old Man, is on the run. They're chasing him, do you see what they did there? — by various US government agencies, at least one deadly contractor, and international adversaries. He is an intelligent man, but his main antagonist is time: a past that catches up with him and a future that becomes more finite. It's a role made for Jeff Bridges, one of those actors who was born to and into Hollywood stardom and has gracefully grown from golden boy to septuagenarian savant on movie screens across the country. As a thriller, The Old Man doesn't always deliver. His internal logic is spotty and his backstory shallow. As a showcase for Bridges and John Lithgow, the rare actor almost able to match his indelible co-star role in another indelible role, The Old Man is far more satisfying, though audiences will yearn for a more direct interplay between the two perfect notes. drives and less of the genre filler that stretches three of the four e...
