Bhuvan Bam is taking his digital game to the next level with his upcoming web series 'Taaza Khabar', the trailer for which was unveiled on Tuesday. It shows how the life of a disgruntled sanitation worker, Vasant Gawde, accelerates after he realizes that he has the power to break the news before it happens.
Comedian and influencer Bhuvan Bam is making his OTT debut with the Disney Plus Hotstar series Taaza Khabar. The trailer for the show, released on Tuesday, features Bhuvan as a sanitation worker, Vasant, who strives to climb the financial ladder. We also see Vasant romancing character Shriya Pilgaonkar in the promo.

The official synopsis for Taaza Khabar reads: “A comedy-drama series set in South Mumbai, it is seen from the perspective of a shauchalaya worker, Vasant Gawde, also known as Vasya, whose mundane, poverty-stricken life is turned upside down. above when a simple dua of a good deed gives him surreal powers. Along with his close-knit squad of friends, he uses his newfound superpower to master his own destiny until karma calls him back.
Speaking about the show, Bhuvam, who is also co-directing it, said in a statement: “Taaza Khabar is a complete performer with elements of action, drama and romance. The show captures the ups and downs of human wants and desires. This is also my digital debut with Disney+ Hotstar, which is a special feeling in itself and the love I've received for it is unimaginable, especially from my fellow cast members. Everyone on set was an expert at their job, but it was a first for me and I'm grateful for all the relationships I nurtured on set. We have worked our hearts out to bring this story to life and all I can say is that viewers can expect anything from this show.”
The trailer shows a darker and grittier Mumbai, in which Bhuvan's Vasant is seen trying to push his limits to achieve his long-standing goals.
The series also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, J.D. Chakravarthy, Deven Bhojani, Shilpa Shukla, Prathmesh Parab, and Nitya Mathur.

The trailer features a brilliant use of colors, vibrant costumes, and an offbeat background score related to the electronic music genre.
