Mission Majnu is a Bollywood drama directed by Shantanu Bagchi. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles along with Abhinay Raj Singh, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi and many others in supporting roles.
The creators shared the first full trailer for Sidharth Malholtra and Rashmika Mandanna, starring Mission Majnu, on Monday. Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, Mission Majnu is also said to star the likes of Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, and Rajit Kapur among others.

The trailer features Sidharth as a RAW agent who enters Pakistan to find out the neighboring country's nuclear capability and if they are planning a bomb targeting India. Like Raazi, Sidharth falls in love with a Pakistani woman and marries her to facilitate her identity in the country and create a cover for her. He is a tailor by day and a super spy by night in the service of India.
Unlike Raazi though, the film wears his intentions and patriotism on its sleeve and there is nothing subtle about his intentions. High on action and drama, it is another addition to Bollywood's super patriotic movies.
The film is set against the backdrop of post-1971 India, when Pakistan had lost another war against India and, according to the film, was said to be preparing for another battle.
Bijitesh De handled the cinematography and editing for the film was handled by Manjunath Ganesh. The music for this film was composed by Shantanu Moitra while the background was composed by Subhodip Sarkar. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta under the banners of RSVP Movies and Guilty By Association Media, while Netflix distributes the film on the online platform.
Mission Majnu depicts the story of the deadliest RAW mission carried out by India inside Pakistan. Sidharth played a raw agent who sacrifices his life for India to observe a Pakistani plot to destroy India. For star Rashmika Mandanna, Mission Majnu marked the official debut film for him. But Goodbye (2022) ended up being her Bollywood debut because the film experienced multiple delays.
Mission Majnu is set to launch online streaming (Netflix) on January 20, 2023.
