Poker Face 2022 Movie Review Trailer Poster Online

Poker Face is a thriller film directed by Russell Crowe. The Gladiator star co-writes the script for the movie and also stars in it, which ups the ante even more. Poker Face follows a tech billionaire, played by Crowe himself, who invites his friends over to his lavish estate for a high-stakes game of poker. But an exciting gambling game turns deadly when a killer is found lurking in the house.

There is a long list of popular poker-based movies including classics like Sydney Pollack's Havana, Richard Donner's Maverick and Molly's Game. Crowe's new suspenseful drama could also join that list, noting the high-tension, exciting plot it features. But that's something we'll have to find out when it arrives.

Director: Russell Crowe
Writers: Stephen M. Coates, Russell Crowe
Stars: Liam Hemsworth, Lynn Gilmartin, Russell Crowe

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters this November, and while you wait, let's check out this handy guide on the plot, release date, trailer, cast and characters, and everything else we know about Poker Face so far.

Poker Face will have its world premiere at the 17th Rome Film Festival on October 16, 2022, followed by a theatrical release on November 16, 2022. The drama-thriller will also hit VOD a week after its release. theatrical release on November 22, 2022.

The official trailer for Poker Face has just been released and it definitely looks pretty exciting. The two-minute clip shows that you can expect plenty of hidden plot twists and surprising reveals, revolving around a group of sneaky characters, who might not be who they appear to be, including the host himself. We are introduced to the game's host, Jake Foley, and his friends and guests, including characters played by Liam Hemsworth, RZA, and Elsa Pataky, among others. It's obvious from the clip that Jake isn't your average player, but rather does his due diligence on his opponents quite well, including learning all of his secrets and moves that can be used as bait.

The trailer is packed with suspense and gambling drama, but it's clear there's more to the story than one twisted gambler and an intense game of poker. Or so we can speculate from what we see. There will definitely be a lot of action involved, as is obvious from the trailer when invaders sneak in and start attacking players.

Poker Face is written and directed by Russell Crowe. The celebrated actor and filmmaker (and also a singer) needs no introduction. He is best known for his acting background and is recognized for his award-winning movies like Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, State of Play, etc. Crowe made his directorial debut in 2014 with the period drama film The Water Diviner, in which he appeared as the Lead. Poker Face is his second directing project. While the previous movie might not have been a box office or critical success, his performance, as usual, slayed the audience. Considering the genre is completely different from what he's explored before, it will be interesting to see how it all fits together.

Stephen M. Coates co-writes the screenplay for Poker Face with Crowe. He previously wrote the story and screenplay for John Doe: Vigilante.

The Old Man Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Dan Chase, the lead in FX's new drama The Old Man, is on the run. They're chasing him, do you see what they did there? — by various US government agencies, at least one deadly contractor, and international adversaries. He is an intelligent man, but his main antagonist is time: a past that catches up with him and a future that becomes more finite. It's a role made for Jeff Bridges, one of those actors who was born to and into Hollywood stardom and has gracefully grown from golden boy to septuagenarian savant on movie screens across the country. As a thriller, The Old Man doesn't always deliver. His internal logic is spotty and his backstory shallow. As a showcase for Bridges and John Lithgow, the rare actor almost able to match his indelible co-star role in another indelible role, The Old Man is far more satisfying, though audiences will yearn for a more direct interplay between the two perfect notes. drives and less of the genre filler that stretches three of the four e...
