Dragon Age: Absolution 2022 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster Online

With so many fantasy games getting TV adaptations, it stands to reason that the Dragon Age games would be the next games to get that in the form of Dragon Age: Absolution. Even better, Netflix just revealed when we'll see this animated series with a new trailer. From the looks of said trailer, apparently Netflix wants to emulate their success with Dota: Dragon's Blood and Arcane with this new series.

Netflix and BioWare have shared the full official trailer for the Dragon Age: Absolution animated series, which has a release date of December 9, 2022 on the streaming service. Like the game franchise itself, the series will target mature audiences and explore themes of freedom, power, and corruption. However, the basic premise of the show sounds pretty standard: Elf mercenary Miriam ends up in a group of wizards, fighters, and thieves who must steal a dangerous artifact powered by blood magic. However, things don't go well and it becomes a story of survival and Miriam confronting her past.

Stars: Matthew Mercer, Ashly Burch, Phil LaMarr

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War writer Mairghread Scott created Dragon Age: Absolution, and there will be six reportedly 30-minute episodes. Like the upcoming Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, the game is set in the Tevinter Imperium. The cast of the series includes Kimberly Brooks, Matt Mercer, Ashly Burch, Sumalee Montano, Phil LaMarr, Keston John, Josh Keaton, and Zehra Fazal, among others. Check out the Dragon Age: Absolution release date trailer below and decide if it has enough Dragon Age flavor for you. Personally, I think it looks a bit bland and too much like all the other animated action series that Netflix produces.

According to Netflix's official description for Absolution, a plan to steal the blood magic-powered artifact known as Circulum Infinitus backfires, marking the "most powerful man in Tevinter" and sending our heroes into a fight for survival. Netflix promises new characters inspired by Dragon Age lore, familiar roles and races, and "special surprises."

The Dragon Age: Absolution voice cast features Kimberly Brooks as Miriam, a "pragmatic elven mercenary"; Matthew Mercer as Fairbanks, a handsome freedom fighter; Ashly Burch as Qwydion, a Qunari mage with a bubbly, destructive chatter; Sumalee Montano as Hira, an idealistic magician and Miriam's friend; Phil LaMaar as Roland, a brave and charming warrior; Keston John as Lacklon, a gruff midget fighter; Josh Keaton as Rezaren, "a good man in a wicked world"; and Zehra Fazal as Tassia, a dutiful and hard-working ally of Rezaren.

Dragon Age: Absolution is six 30-minute episodes long and will debut on Netflix on December 9. The series was developed by BioWare and Korean studio Red Dog Culture House, which also worked on the animated series The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf and Centuarworld for Netflix. Mae Catt, Tim Sheridan, and Mairghread Scott wrote the series, with Scott serving as showrunner.

Netflix has just released a new trailer for Dragon Age: Absolution. The release date for the upcoming fantasy series has also been revealed as December 9. Dragon Age: Absolution will tell its story through six episodes. Netflix will release all the episodes on December 9 so fans can watch them all in one go.
