Creatures of Necessity is a 2022 American dark comedy thriller in which a female kidnapping victim begins to manipulate her captors. Directed by Christian Kazadi from a script written by producer Njedeh Anthony.


The Gestalt Effect production stars Amy Lyndon, Mindy Gilkerson, Christian Kazadi, Andrew John Morrison, Dane Oliver, Isaiah Locust, Johnjay Fitih and Josephine Chang.

"After 13 days without receiving a ransom and their identities now revealed, everyone involved in Isabella Contini's kidnapping has reached their breaking point and released their demons," the film's synopsis reads. “The chaotic affairs in the life of the kidnappers shadow their crime, while their victim weighs heavily.

After thirteen days without receiving a ransom and revealing their identities, everyone involved in the kidnapping of Isabella Contini (Christian Kazadi) reaches their limit.


Gravitas Ventures will release Creatures of Necessity across all TVOD/Digital platforms and on DVD on November 22, 2022.
