The Slumberkins trailer introduced kids to the show's main characters: Yak, Fox, Sloth, Unicorn, and Bigfoot. Throughout the show, the gang will learn emotional lessons. For example, one scene in the trailer shows Bigfoot accidentally breaking his ukulele and fearing that his father will be mad at him. Bigfoot's father says that his love for Bigfoot is unwavering, even though a ukulele is. The show will also address friendship, other friends' feelings, listening skills, and more.

“Sago Mini Friends” is a new preschool animated series produced by Daytime Emmy Award-nominated Spin Master Entertainment and animated by 9 Story Media Group’s Emmy Award-winning studio Brown Bag Films – Toronto, based on the charming characters and the clever designs featured in the award-winning Sago Mini World app, developed by Sago Mini. The "Sago Mini Friends" series is a nod to gratitude, featuring Harvey the lop-eared dog and his best friends Jinja the cat, Jack the rabbit and Robin the bird. Along with a unique cast of residents, the four friends play, explore, imagine and celebrate every day in their town of Sagoville. In each episode, Harvey and all of his friends express their true appreciation for all things, big and small, through optimism, kindness, childlike humor, and original songs.
