Amazon and Hulu have swooped in on Syfy's comedy-drama "Reginald the Vampire," starring "Spider-Man: No Way Home" star Jacob Batalon.
Streamers have picked up the show for select territories, while Cineflix Rights has come on board as an international distributor and will buy the 10-part series at next month's MipTV market in Cannes. It is produced by Great Pacific Media, which is owned by Thunderbird Entertainment.
Hulu acquired second-window rights to the US series, co-produced with Modern Story, December Films and Cineflix Studios, while Amazon purchased streaming rights in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The show is in its final week of filming and is scheduled for a summer premiere on Syfy.

Based on the "Fat Vampire" novels by Johnny B. Truant, the comedy-tinged drama stars Batalon as Reginald, a newly turned vampire who crashes into a world populated by beautiful, fit and vain vampires.
