Interview with the Vampire 2022 Tv Show Review Trailer Cast Crew

Interview with the Vampire will be an adaptation of the novel of the same name by the late Anne Rice, the first in a series of thirteen books called The Vampire Chronicles. Published in 1976, Interview with the Vampire is considered the most important work of vampire literature since Bram Stoker's Dracula. The Vampire Chronicles is one of the most popular and profitable vampire properties of all time; the series overall has sold over 80 million copies worldwide.

Interview with the Vampire begins with a conversation between reporter Daniel Molloy and Louis de Pointe du Lac, a century-old vampire determined to tell his life story. In Louisiana around 1791, plantation owner Louis is approached by the mysterious and fickle Lestat de Lioncourt, who turns him into a vampire and becomes his immortal companion. As the decades pass, Louis grows weary of immortality and human suffering, increasingly at odds with Lestat over his differing views on feeding on human blood. Fearing that Louis will leave him, Lestat turns a human boy into a vampire to give Louis a reason to stay. Louis develops a fierce affection for his vampire daughter Claudia, but the family bond sours when it becomes clear that Claudia's body will never mature; she will forever remain an adult woman trapped in the body of a child. Claudia plans to kill Lestat for dooming her to this fate, but Lestat won't keep quiet and leads these three vampires on a high-octane chase across the ocean, where they will encounter Old World vampires in Europe. The story ends with Molloy begging Louis to turn him into a vampire and grant him eternal life; Disgusted, Louis disappears, while Molloy decides to track down Lestat, who he hopes will grant his request.

The Old Man Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Dan Chase, the lead in FX's new drama The Old Man, is on the run. They're chasing him, do you see what they did there? — by various US government agencies, at least one deadly contractor, and international adversaries. He is an intelligent man, but his main antagonist is time: a past that catches up with him and a future that becomes more finite. It's a role made for Jeff Bridges, one of those actors who was born to and into Hollywood stardom and has gracefully grown from golden boy to septuagenarian savant on movie screens across the country. As a thriller, The Old Man doesn't always deliver. His internal logic is spotty and his backstory shallow. As a showcase for Bridges and John Lithgow, the rare actor almost able to match his indelible co-star role in another indelible role, The Old Man is far more satisfying, though audiences will yearn for a more direct interplay between the two perfect notes. drives and less of the genre filler that stretches three of the four e...
