Sylvester Stallone is making the jump to streaming. Paramount+ has released the first trailer for "Tulsa King," the new crime drama from "Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan, starring Stallone in the title role.
Tulsa King stars Stallone as mob boss Dwight "The General" Manfredi. When the mob kingpin is released from prison after 25 years, his boss unceremoniously exiles him to set up shop in Tulsa, OK. Realizing that his mob family might not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a "crew" from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place he loves. it might as well be another planet.

Stallone, in the first regular television role of his career, plays Dwight Manfredi, a New York mob boss who is finally released from prison after a 25-year sentence. Upon his release, his boss unceremoniously relocates him to Tulsa, Oklahoma to set up criminal operations there. Trapped in a new location with no existing connections and no support from his crime family, Manfredi slowly builds a group of unlikely allies to establish his own criminal empire.
In addition to Stallone, "Tulsa King" also stars Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson and Garrett Hedlund. Terence Winter serves as an executive producer and writer for the series, and executive produces with Sheridan, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter and Braden Aftergood.
“Tulsa King” is one of several upcoming Sheridan-created series set to premiere on Paramount+, including the Zoe Saldaña-directed espionage series “Lioness,” podcast adaptation “Land Man” and “Yellowstone” spinoffs “1883: The Bass”. Reeves Story”, “1932” and “6666”. Sheridan has previously produced the "Yellowstone" prequel "1883" and the Jeremy Renner-directed detective drama "Mayor of Kingstown" for the broadcaster.
“Tulsa King” premieres with its first two episodes on November 13, followed by weekly episode releases. In addition to airing on Paramount+, the first two episodes will also air on Paramount Channel on November 13 and 20, following the first two episodes of “Yellowstone” season 5.
