Created, written and produced by Peter Ocko, Moonhaven is about a utopian colony on the moon that may hold the keys to preserving life on Earth, which has become increasingly dangerous. The series, produced by AMC Studios, will debut on AMC and AMC+ next year.

There seems to be no shortage of great sci-fi and future-set TV shows that propel us into space. From Apple TV+'s "For All Mankind" to ABC's "Debris," Netflix's "Away" and the upcoming Apple TV+ show "Foundation," the cosmos is a prime stage for epic stories to unfold. AMC is getting on the sci-fi boom lately with "Moonhaven," a new TV show from "Lodge 49" and "Black Sails" executive producer Peter Ocko (via TV Line). According to early reports on the project, "Moonhaven" will consist of six episodes, suggesting the possibility that it is a limited series for a network not known for indulging in such shows. However, if "Moonhaven" takes off with audiences, that initially brief episode order could be expanded or result in a Season 2 renewal.

Stars: Kadeem Hardison, Chloe Harris, Nina Barker-Francis

A statement from AMC's head of original programming, Dan McDermott, to TV Line sheds light on the cable channel's enthusiasm for "Moonhaven." Says McDermott, "What intrigued us so much about 'Moonhaven' is that it's... set in a century in the future that, at its heart, couldn't be more relevant today. Peter and his writing team have built some unforgettable characters." And we know the story will captivate viewers and explore complex and deeply emotional issues that are top of mind today and have the potential to threaten existence on the only planet we've ever called home."

Earth's hope before they are destroyed. themselves.

Manganiello will play Tomm Schultz. Tomm, an ex-military man with a philosophical bent, is the right-hand man to Earth's top diplomat on the moon, who finds his ambitions changed when he is injected with a mind-altering lunar drug. In addition to McDonald and Monaghan, Manganiello joins the previous cast of Kadeem Hardison as Arlo Noon, Amara Karan as Indira Mare, and Ayelet Zurer as Maite Voss.

Manganiello was most recently seen in the independent films Shoplifters of the World and Archenemy (currently on AMC+), both produced by his company 3:59, as well as Zack Snyder's Justice League. Becoming Elizabeth 2022 Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Is there really anything else that television can say about the Tudors? 16th-century British royalty has inspired elegant installments of Masterpiece Theatre, a tawdry Showtime soap opera, and all sorts of adaptations of Philippa Gregory's best-selling women-centric historical novels. For nearly a decade, Gregory's books have served as the backbone of Starz's historical romance slate: The White Queen, The White Princess and two seasons of The Spanish Princess traced the line of succession from Elizabeth Woodville's reign in the height of the War of the Roses to the marriage of Catalina Aragón with a young Henry VIII. Now Starz is changing gears, but not order of succession, with Becoming Elizabeth. The tagline for the series is “The queen you know. The girl who doesn't.
