Rowan Atkinson returns to the world of physical comedy, this time on NETFLIX
Most of us know Atkinson for his excellent portrayal of Mr. Bean, the lovable jester. He made us laugh with his memorable antics and misadventures without uttering a single word. Man Vs Bee will see Rowan Atkinson return to the world of physical comedy in a new Netflix series about a man's fight against an annoying bug. The series has been created by Atkinson with the help of Will Davies, with whom he previously collaborated on the Johnny English film franchise. Here's everything we know about the show, which is sure to leave viewers raving.
The trailer opens with Trevor (Rowan Atkinson) in court, describing his experiences with a certain bee. We then go back in time to see how it all unfolded, starting with Trevor walking into Nina's house for the first time. Chaos ensues as Trevor and the bee fight, destroying the mansion in the process. Along with Rowan Atkinson, we now have other names confirmed to star in Man Vs Bee.
Julian Rhind-Tutt (Bridget Jones's Baby) plays Nina's husband Christian, Greg McHugh (Fresh Meat) is the gardener, and White Lines star India Fowler plays a character named Maddy. Claudie Blakley (Manhunt), who plays Trevor's ex-wife, and Tom Basden (After Life), as the police officer, round out the cast.
Man Vs Bee arrives on Netflix on June 24, so it will join some of the other summer releases for the streaming service. It will be made up of 10 episodes, each of which will be only 10 minutes long.
