"Stay Seated" Lionsgate has revealed an official movie trailer for Hot Seat, a new get-hit-by-a-bomb thriller from low-budget action filmmaker James Cullen Bressack. He's been making forgettable action movies for years with Bruce Willis, but now that he's retired they've moved on to work with Mel Gibson for his next mediocre movie.
A reformed hacker-turned-cybersecurity technician finds himself in the "hot seat" when he realizes he just set up a bomb under his chair and is forced to help an anonymous maniac pull off a cyber heist. impossible. Kevin Dillon stars as the one in the chair, with Mel Gibson as a cop on the bomb squad, plus Shannen Doherty, Sam Asghari, Michael Welch and Eddie Steeples. The funny thing is that this is more or less the concept of Speed, but it was transferred to a "cyberthriller" movie.
