The Spanish Princess TV-Show Review 2019 Cast Crew

Stars:  Charlotte Hope, Aaron Cobham, Elliot Cowan

The reign of Henry VIII is one of the most prominent periods of history and literature. "The Spanish Princess", the last real drama of Starz, is the newest series to see that era not only from the throne, but also from the women of high rank whose lives were intertwined with the fate of the empires.

Charlotte Hope plays Catherine of Aragon, looking for a way to overcome the loss of her husband, the teenager Arthur Tudor. The trailer then reimagines the first interactions between Catherine, Princess of Spain, and her eventual second husband Henry (Ruairi O'Connor). As a prelude to one of the most important sagas of the 1500s, "The Spanish Princess" considers Catherine not only as a pawn in history, but as a young woman who launched a plan to govern her own destiny.

In the midst of potential bloodshed and unstable imperial alliances, Catherine joins a broad group of characters, including trusted assistants Lina (Stephanie Levi-John) and Rosa (Nadia Parkes). The rest of the highly detailed series includes an ensemble cast that also features Dame Harriet Walter, Laura Carmichael, Aaron Cobham and Georgie Henley.

This is another Starz series based on Philippa Gregory's novels. Previous productions include "The White Queen" and "The White Princess," starring Rebecca Ferguson and Jodie Comer, respectively. "The Spanish princess" is based on the novels of Gregory 2005 and 2014 "The constant princess" and "The curse of the king". Emma Frost serves as co-showrunner (along with Matthew Graham) in this new season, after writing or co-writing Six of the eight installments of "The White Princess." Birgitte Stærmose will be behind the camera for the first two episodes this season. Watch the full trailer of the series.

The Old Man Tv Series Review Trailer Cast Crew

Dan Chase, the lead in FX's new drama The Old Man, is on the run. They're chasing him, do you see what they did there? — by various US government agencies, at least one deadly contractor, and international adversaries. He is an intelligent man, but his main antagonist is time: a past that catches up with him and a future that becomes more finite. It's a role made for Jeff Bridges, one of those actors who was born to and into Hollywood stardom and has gracefully grown from golden boy to septuagenarian savant on movie screens across the country. As a thriller, The Old Man doesn't always deliver. His internal logic is spotty and his backstory shallow. As a showcase for Bridges and John Lithgow, the rare actor almost able to match his indelible co-star role in another indelible role, The Old Man is far more satisfying, though audiences will yearn for a more direct interplay between the two perfect notes. drives and less of the genre filler that stretches three of the four e...
