The production began in The Last Kids On Earth, a series of comedy of adventures and animation based on the successful series of books of Max Brallier that will be released on Netflix in 2019. It is producing the animation studio Atomic Cartoons of Thunderbird Entertainment.



The Last Kids on Earth follows Jack Sullivan, 13, and a band of suburban high school students who live in a tree house, play video games, stuff themselves with candy and fight zombies after the apocalypse of monster. It's a hilarious series full of kids' kids, crazy gadgets, a supply of zombies and giant monsters for life.

Brallier is executive producer and co-written with Emmy-nominated scribe Scott Peterson (Phineas and Ferb), who will also serve as showrunner. Jennifer McCarron and Matthew Berkowitz of Atomic Cartoons will be the executive producers.

The fourth book in the series, The Last Kids on Earth and Cosmic Beyond, will be published on September 18, Viking, a track by Penguin Young Readers.
