NOS4A2 TV-Show Review 2019 Cast Crew
Stars: Andresito Germosen De La Cruz, Ebon Moss-Bachrach
The weight of the bicycle was almost too much for old wood. If it stopped, the rotten boards could give way under her and let her fall into that ... that ... whatever that is. The abyss between thought and reality, between imagine and have, maybe ".
We ventured into the life and mind of Victoria 'Vic' McQueen, a woman who, during her youth, escaped from a near-death experience, and then, as an adult, finds herself fighting against the same peculiar man and not completely human. And their bad roads. Now she is trying to persecute him because he has kidnapped her son. The years have not been kind to our protagonist, through his bad decisions and his inability to accept what is and what is not real. Vic has a secret and this is what has aroused the interest of his only tormentor. With a wealth at risk, the struggle to rescue his son occurs.
Vic's counterpart is known as Charles Talent Manx. A man traveling in a Wraith Rolls-Royce carrying a personalized plate. That badge bears the name NOS4A2, which Manx proudly declares as his only self. The car should not be overlooked, as it is as much a character in this story as any other person with a pulse ... or without it, for that matter. Wayne Carmody serves as the victimized son. This story has a lot of characters that are important to bring this story to the conclusion and although I am tempted to list them here, I will not do it. Chances are you end up delivering a big spoiler here.
What kind of impact did the novel have, and I liked it? Well, I think this is an excellent read that really took me on a diverse journey of wonder and loss. If you read this expecting a lot of blood and blood, you will be disappointed. While we are dealing with a vampire here, the obvious or predictable path is not traversed within the pages of NOS4A2. Joe Hill has given life to an exciting and totally different form of monster here. While I am aware of the many comparisons that other reviewers have made with respect to Hill and his legendary father Stephen King, I am choosing to distance myself from those parallels. This is not a Stephen King novel, it's a Joe Hill novel. Let the work of man remain alone. Do not get me wrong, here is a series of references to his father's past works, but I would consider those more tribute than anything else. NOS4A2 is a tribute piece that stands out only for the merits of Hill's writing. Hill has done a good job here. Obviously this had a very positive impact on me. Would you recommend it? Without hesitation, without any doubt.
At the end of the day, the only thing I regret is not having picked it up and read it before. And my wish is that this little review encourages you to reserve a touch of time to enjoy a beautiful job. NOS4A2 is definitely worth your time and money. This is a slow recording book that accumulates on a wild trip.
